Bag Stuffing

Imagine this.  You have arrived at the Galt House, checked into your room and are now wandering around, wondering where is everybody.  If it is Tuesday and 1:30 PM, we are stuffing Conference Bags!!  Why don't you come join us?  We'll be in the Breathitt Room - located in the Suite Tower, 2nd floor/Ballroom level.

It's a fun way to get reacquainted with old friends and meet people new to the Conference.  And regardless if you have just flown or driven in, it will be a good way to stretch your legs as we play ring around the goodies table.  Not only that , you will get to be among the first to see what great treats, literature and who knows what else there will be (I know I don't).

By the time we are done, Registration will be open and you can pick up your packets and join up with friends to enjoy the DVD Networking for some entertainment.

Border Collies Needed

photo of Zac by Samantha

We still need a few more Border Collie volunteers.  Border Collies help the Conference staff keep things running smoothly by helping at the various sessions and assisting the other attendees.  It is a great way to meet people too.  We will work around your schedule and you'll get a Conference T-shirt and some other goodies for your time.

If you would like to be a Border Collie, contact apdt@details2.com.

So You Want to Be a Border Collie?

Great!  We will need lots of Border Collies, or guide dogs, or terriers (you get the idea) with lots of energy that needs to be burnt off.

Border Collies are the back bone that helps the Conference run smoothly.  It is the opportunity to meet lots of new people, form new friendships and get the satisfaction of a job well done.

We need people to volunteer to help at the doors checking name badges, answering questions, herding folks to their seats and helping during breaks.  Planning on going to the zoo or one of the other off-site sessions?  We'll need your help there too.

There are wonderful perks in being a BC.  The fun of all of the above, a free Conference T-shirt and the opportunity to apply for a staff position at the next Conference!  Who knows what random rewards we may intermittently toss you?

If this sounds like a good time, please send an email to adpt@details2.com.  Include your name, address, phone, email and when you will be arriving at the conference.  Feel free to let us know why you would like to be a Border Collie.  Conference Puppies are welcome too!
